The Project for Women was originally conceived to be a blog where women (and men) can read the stories of other women and a specific turning point in their lives. In turn, other women would contribute their personal stories and continue to inspire others.
That is not how it has turned out.
Although, I am still soliciting stories from women about a turning point in their lives, I am also adding content weekly to the blog. Sharing stories that are interesting - from grandmothers learning martial arts, professional hockey leagues for women, and the trading in of brawny male bodyguards for smaller, but no less deadlier female bodyguards - these are the stories I will continue to share and write about.
More importantly are the stories you contribute.
PROJECT FOR WOMEN CONTRIBUTIONS/GUEST BLOGGING
If you would like to contribute your story about a turning point in your life please continue reading.
I am looking for women to share their stories about a significant turning point in their life. It can be about pregnancy and childbirth, education, relationships, love, death, work or anything in between. I am the editor of the project. It my intention that the stories gathered will inspire other women (and the men who love us), and help us realize our potential.
It is also important that I protect those people who are willing to share their stories. If someone wants to tell their story, but remain anonymous, that is fine. I will not share the identity of the story teller on the website and their identity will remain protected unless they tell me differently. However, the story teller will not be anonymous to me (it is important to be factual and have the ability to follow up for detail/verification).
Please submit all submissions via email. Submissions must be no more than 1000 words (approximately two pages.) Please specify if you want to remain anonymous. Include your name and contact information so that I can contact you for verification purposes.
Submission of a personal story does not guarantee publication on the blog.
This project is also listed in my LinkedIn profile.
THANK YOU,
Kella
